Youssoufa Moukoko was born on November 20, 2004, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and moved to Germany at the age of 7. He holds German citizenship and represents Germany on the international stage.

He joined the youth setup at FC St. Pauli in 2014, where he scored an impressive 23 goals in just 13 matches for their U15 team. 

Borussia Dortmund 

In 2016, Moukoko transferred to Dortmund's academy, where he excelled at youth levels, netting 141 goals in 88 games for the U17 and U19 teams.
